Our friends at 50 Forward Mohawk Valley are looking for a Data Collection intern this Fall season!

What is 50 Forward Mohawk Valley? 

50 Forward Mohawk Valley is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide programs and services to individuals 50+, empowering them to live healthy and vibrant lives. Through their AmeriCorps Seniors program and Volunteer Resource Center, they offer a number of opportunities that promote volunteerism throughout Oneida County that include nutrition and fitness education, fall prevention, fitness classes, non-emergency medical transportation, and so much more. 50 Forward MV also offers opportunities for area interns looking to enter into the workforce working directly with active older adults and seniors within their community. Through their diverse programming and services, interns can complete their experience with a well-balanced understanding of services provided right here in their community, and more importantly, take the experience with them throughout their career!

Interns interested in this opportunity should:

 Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Publisher, Excel
 Be willing to engage members through social programming
 Have strong communication skills
 Be creative

Tasks assigned may include:
 My Senior Space input
 Updating and inputting member demographics
 Inputting member class registrations
 Assist with updating volunteer demographics
 Assist with updating client demographics
 Assist with development of data collection, analysis, database, forms
 Member, volunteer, client phone follow up for data

Schedule:
 Schedule will be based on your availability within the confines of our regular schedule of
Monday – Friday 8:30am– 4:00pm
